New Skilled Rehabilitation Center Open at Linden Court

North Platte, NE – Linden Court is pleased to announce the opening of the new rehabilitation center designed specifically for people needing short-term rehabilitation. The 25,600 square feet addition includes twenty-four private rooms, an innovative therapy gym, dedicated dining venues, a culinary center specific to rehabilitation, bathing spa and a protected courtyard for outdoor therapy.
Rehabilitation therapy is a very personal experience. The new addition provides people needing a short-term stay a more intimate setting with the latest technology and skilled caregivers. The design provides residents with real-world activities to ensure they are able to live safely when they return home. The therapy gym includes a residential-style kitchen with working appliances, washer and dryer and a residential-style bathroom with tub.
The gym also has a custom made set of stairs leading to a front door, landing, and another set of stairs going down. The new courtyard area has walkways with various levels for residents to practice walking with or without assistance.
Private rooms are equipped with bathrooms and showers, cable TV and wireless internet access. The bathing spa is equipped with a side-entry rapid filling tub and a lift.
In addition to the rehabilitation center, Linden Court has a new large community room with space to host community events, celebrations and educational workshops for seniors in the greater North Platte area. The area also allows for specialized training and continuing education for the Linden Court team.
The design for the addition was created by the in-house architectural team at Vetter Senior Living and construction management was also directed by the Vetter team. The construction and renovation project represents a $7.5 million investment by Vetter Senior Living. According to Jack Vetter, CEO, and Chairman f the Board, “North Platte is a great community and we want to continue our investment in the Linden Court campus to provide World Class Services that change the view of rehabilitation and long-term care.”
